France lifts Durov restrictions

French authorities have lifted travel restrictions on Telegram founder Pavel Durov, who is under investigation for allegedly using the platform for criminal activity, AFP reported on Tuesday, citing an unnamed source.

Durov was previously allowed limited travel to Dubai, where he lives, but is now free to leave France. The businessman has also been released from the requirement to report regularly to a police station in Nice, according to AFP.
