Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky reported that he had a telephone conversation with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
“Unfortunately, there is destruction and damage; the Azerbaijani embassy was also damaged. Mr. President condemned the strike and emphasized that this is not the first time that the Russians have targeted both the embassy building and other objects related to Azerbaijan,” Zelensky wrote on his Telegram page.
According to a statement released by the Azerbaijani side, Aliyev expressed grave concern in this regard, emphasizing that such attacks on diplomatic missions are unacceptable in accordance with the norms and principles of international law.
