IAEA has no data on nuclear weapons tests. Grossi

The IAEA has no data to confirm that any of the countries, including the United States, have conducted nuclear weapons tests, the head of the agency, Rafael Grossi, said.

"According to the monitoring system that is currently in place, there have been no events indicating that such tests have been conducted. I hope that this will remain the case," Grossi said at a press conference in Kaliningrad, summing up his consultations with Rosatom head Alexei Likhachev.

He recalled that "there is an organization in Vienna that monitors the conduct of direct nuclear weapons tests."
