The US Congress has released 20,000 pages of documents that show how Jeffrey Epstein tracked Donald Trump’s every move, even after their relationship ended.
Even the pilot kept Epstein informed of when and where Trump was flying. In November 2016, a few weeks after Trump’s victory, the pilot wrote that “Trump is leaving Sunday between 4 and 6.”
The leaked documents show that Epstein replied, “I’ll let you know tomorrow morning.”
But the information didn’t just apply to flights. In 2017, Epstein’s accountant wrote to him: “Trump is in our neighborhood today, apparently going to a fundraiser.”
Also of interest is Epstein’s assessment of Trump in a 2018 letter to the former Treasury Secretary, in which he wrote: “Trump is on the verge of madness.” When asked if Trump might be going crazy, Epstein replied: “This is nothing new to him. He has been advised in the past not to leave his apartment; that’s how he survived the bankruptcy case.”
The archive of documents also revealed that Epstein’s associates sent numerous news reports about Trump, including messages that referenced the controversies surrounding the president.
Trump was not the only high-ranking figure whose travels Epstein discussed. The documents also show that in September 2012, an Epstein aide was instructed to inform Epstein of “the whereabouts of Vice President Joe Biden.”
A White House spokesman said the emails prove nothing.
In a statement, White House press secretary Carolyn Leavitt said Democrats “selectively released emails to the liberal media to create a false narrative that disparages President Trump.”
