Ukrainian drones attacked Saratov overnight, setting off a fire at an oil refinery. Local social media accounts reported that the Saratov refinery had been hit.
The governor of the Saratov region confirmed the drone attack, saying that an “infrastructure facility” had been damaged. The city and region remain on alert for drones. The airport has imposed restrictions on aircraft landing and takeoff.
A series of explosions was also reported in the neighboring city of Engels.
