A suicide bomber attacked the Red Fort in New Delhi.
According to Indian media, the suicide bomber, Umar Mohammad, a doctor and allegedly a member of an extremist group in the state of Haryana, blew up his Hyundai i20.
According to investigators, he used ammonia nitrate fuel (ANFO). The car was parked in a parking lot in the city center for three hours before the explosion, and Mohammad remained inside the vehicle the entire time.
Recall that eight people were killed and at least 20 were injured as a result of the car explosion. The incident occurred in an area considered a popular tourist destination.
