Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has arrived in Washington for talks with White House President Donald Trump and to participate in the Central Asia-US summit.
Tokayev's meeting with Trump is scheduled to take place today.
Earlier, the Deputy Secretary of State Christopher Landau welcomed him.
This is Tokayev's first visit to the US.
