Russia's nuclear triad has been updated

Russia's nuclear triad has been updated, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

"You know that our nuclear triad has been updated. It is, in fact, the newest nuclear triad in the world. Extensive work has been done to ensure our security reliability," Peskov told reporters.

According to him, the position of Russian President Vladimir Putin is apparent: Russia is committed to its obligations under the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty (CTBT).

Referring to a telephone conversation between Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump, Peskov noted that it is not currently planned. Still, it can be quickly organized if necessary.
