Bayramov presented his position on the peaceful settlement to Grono

According to a statement by the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry, Azerbaijan and the European Union (EU) discussed the current state and prospects of cooperation, the process of normalizing Armenian-Azerbaijani relations, as well as regional and international issues.

The talks took place during a meeting between Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and the EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus and the Crisis in Georgia, Magdalena Grono.

The parties discussed cooperation between Azerbaijan and the EU in political, economic, transport, energy, and other spheres, noting the importance of dialogue on various platforms. They particularly emphasized the importance of continuing efforts to strengthen mutual trust and implement the agreements reached at previous meetings.

Magdalena Grono expressed the EU's readiness to support the agreements reached at the Washington Summit. In turn, Jeyhun Bayramov informed his interlocutor about the achievements and prospects of the peaceful settlement of the conflict between Azerbaijan and Armenia.

At the end of the meeting, the parties exchanged views on bilateral and regional issues of mutual interest.
