Following the victory of Democratic Socialist Zohran Mamdani in the New York mayoral election, US President Donald Trump declared that he would not allow communism to emerge in the United States "in any form."
"As long as I am president, the United States will not become a communist country in any form. We will stop that. We will stop this nonsense," Trump declared, speaking at the American Business Forum.
The US president also declared that the United States is not seeking war with any country.
