Today, the 13th meeting of the secretaries of the security councils of the CIS member states will take place in Moscow under the chairmanship of Sergey Shoigu, Secretary of the Russian Security Council.

He will also hold separate bilateral meetings with his counterparts from Azerbaijan, Armenia, and Belarus. This was reported by the Russian news agency TASS.

It is planned to discuss security challenges and threats in the CIS region, as well as possible joint response measures. As Deputy Secretary of the Russian Security Council, Alexei Shevtsov, told TASS earlier, the meeting will also focus on issues of humanitarian cooperation and countering the ideological expansion of the West.
