Chinese President Xi Jinping received Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin in Beijing. They discussed mutual investments and joint projects.
“It is important to continue to create favorable conditions for attracting mutual investments. Support our joint projects,” Mishustin said.
“Just yesterday, the 30th regular meeting of the heads of governments of Russia and China was held in Hangzhou. All current issues on the bilateral agenda were discussed, and new tasks were outlined to strengthen trade, economic, and scientific and technical cooperation between our countries,” Mishustin noted.
The Russian Prime Minister conveyed the best wishes of Russian President Vladimir Putin to Xi Jinping.
In turn, the Chinese President appreciated the interaction with the Russian Prime Minister.
According to Xi Jinping, since the beginning of this year, against the backdrop of an unstable environment, Sino-Russian relations have been developing steadily. They are aimed at high-level and high-quality development.
"We have met with President Putin twice in Moscow and Beijing, exchanged detailed views on strategic and comprehensive issues of Sino-Russian relations, outlined new plans, and set new guidelines. It can be said that the high level of strategic mutual trust and close ties between the heads of state are the main guarantee for the sustainable development of the comprehensive strategic partnership," the Chinese president noted.
