Bloomberg News Agency reports that Chinese oil refineries have begun to refuse to buy Russian oil following the United States and other Western countries' imposition of sanctions on leading Russian producers and some of their customers.
Thus, state-owned companies Sinopec and PetroChina have already canceled several supplies after the United States added Rosneft and Lukoil to its sanctions list last month. Even smaller private refineries are temporarily suspending purchases, fearing sanctions, as happened with Shandong Yulong Petrochemical Co.
