Baku rejects Trump's offer: Azerbaijan wants UN mandate

AnewZ reports that the Trump administration has offered to have Azerbaijan join the international mission to stabilize Gaza after the end of hostilities.

According to sources, Baku has not yet made a decision. Azerbaijan insists that participation is possible only if there is a UN Security Council resolution that provides the mission with international legitimacy.

The initiative involves the creation of a multinational force to provide security, deliver humanitarian aid, and prevent a new conflict. The United States does not plan to send troops but is forming a coalition of partners, among them Azerbaijan, which is under consideration.

Baku is coordinating its actions with the OIC and the League of Arab States, emphasizing that Arab countries themselves should determine the future of Gaza.
