US President Donald Trump said he will meet with Russian leader Vladimir Putin only if he is confident of an agreement to end the Russo-Ukrainian war. Trump told the White House press corps on a plane to Malaysia during his Asia tour.
"We need to know that we are going to make a deal," the American leader said, answering a question about when he would like to meet with Putin.
Trump expressed disappointment with the progress of the peace process in the Russian-Ukrainian conflict.
