Azerbaijan has lifted all restrictions on the transit of goods to Armenia that have been in place since the beginning of the conflict, and the first such shipment was a cargo of Kazakh grain.
According to the Azerbaijani state-run APA news agency, Aliyev said during a joint press conference with Kazakhstan's president in Astana.
“I think this is also a good indicator that peace between Azerbaijan and Armenia is no longer just on paper, but is also at the practical stage,” Aliyev added.
