US Vice President J.D. Vance addressed Ukraine's request for Tomahawk missiles; the vice president assured that Donald Trump "has certainly heard that request."
"We know that's what they want. This is an issue that the president will ultimately make a decision on. But he has not yet decided whether to provide Ukraine with Tomahawks or not," Vance noted.
When asked what prevents the American leadership from transferring the missiles to Ukraine, the US vice president noted that the president's priority is ensuring the security of his own country.
He emphasized that the United States must first ensure the availability of key weapons systems to protect its military forces.
Vance also added that in resolving issues regarding Ukraine and Russia, Trump seeks to promote peace, considering this the best option for America.
