US President Donald Trump tweeted, calling the Colombian president a drug lord:
“Colombian President Gustavo Petro is a leader of the illegal drug trade, encouraging the mass production of drugs, in large and small fields, throughout Colombia.
It has become Colombia’s most significant business, without a doubt, and Petro is doing nothing to stop it, despite massive payments and subsidies from the US, which are nothing more than a long-term rip-off of America.
Petro, a low-rated and very unpopular leader with fresh views on America, had better shut down these killing fields immediately, or the United States will shut them down for him.”
