Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze has canceled a meeting with the Finnish Foreign Minister, who arrived in Tbilisi, after the latter met with participants of an anti-government rally.
Elina Valtonen also holds the post of OSCE Chairperson-in-Office.
“The decision was made due to Elina Valtonen’s participation in an illegal rally and the dissemination of false statements,” the Georgian government said in a statement.
It should be noted that Valtonen was in Armenia the day before and left for Tbilisi from there.
