Russia's proposal on signing a peace agreement remains valid. Galuzin

Russia's offer to serve as a platform for the signing of a final peace agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan remains valid, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Galuzin said during a reception organized on the occasion of Armenia's Independence Day.

According to him, Moscow attaches great importance to the normalization of relations between the two neighboring countries.

"It is obvious that serious work still needs to be done to implement what has been planned in practice. We are ready to provide Yerevan and Baku with the necessary assistance in overcoming the remaining differences, including taking into account the trilateral statements of the leaders of Russia, Armenia, and Azerbaijan," the deputy minister said.

Galuzin emphasized that Russia has played a key and effective role in the normalization process between Yerevan and Baku.
