Heavy rains in Mexico last week have killed at least 64 people and left 65 missing. The tropical cyclone has caused landslides and flooding along the Gulf Coast and in central states.
About 100,000 homes have been damaged nationwide. The states of Hidalgo and Veracruz have been hit hardest. The rains have destroyed infrastructure, flooding streets with sewage.
Authorities have deployed thousands of workers to help evacuate residents and clean up the area. Power outages in five states have been largely restored.
