The EU has reaffirmed its active participation in the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip

The European Union will take an active role in the reconstruction of Gaza and will also resume its missions in border security, capacity building, and police training.
This was announced by the President of the European Council, Antonio Costa, after the signing of a declaration of intent in Sharm el-Sheikh, attended by world leaders.
Costa thanked US President Donald Trump and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi for organizing the summit.
