Former US President Joe Biden has stated the Gaza ceasefire and prisoner release deal. He praised President Trump for the great work he has done.
“The road to this deal was not easy. I commend President Trump and his team for completing the renewed ceasefire agreement,” the former US president wrote.
Biden also noted that his administration has worked tirelessly to return the prisoners, assist the Palestinian civilian population, and end the war. The president added that the Middle East is now on the path to peace, and he hopes that in the future Israelis and Palestinians will have equal peace, dignity, and security.
This announcement came as the last 20 surviving Israeli prisoners were reunited with their families, and Gaza residents were allowed to return to their homes and rebuild them.
