Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko has stated that the policy of normalizing relations with the United States should be based solely on Belarusian interests.
"We are ready to conclude a big deal with them. On one side of the scale are their questions, requests, and demands; on the other, ours. We are ready for this. I consider Donald Trump's proposals in this regard absolutely normal. But our interests must also be taken into account. And everything must be honest, as we once agreed with the Americans," Lukashenko said.
