NBC News reports that Israeli President Yitzhak Herzog will soon present Trump with Israel’s Presidential Medal of Honor.
This is the country’s highest civilian award. The US president will receive it for his role in “the historic agreement that led to the release of the hostages and the conclusion of the war.”
It is also reported that Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi will present Trump with the “Necklace of the Nile,” also known as the Order of the Nile. This is the country’s highest state award. Trump will receive it “for his important role in ending the war in Gaza,” the Egyptian administration said in a statement.
