Hamas has begun the process of handing over Israeli prisoners in Gaza to the Red Cross delegation.
According to the Israeli state-run KAN television channel, the prisoners will be released in stages from three locations: Gaza City, Deir el-Balah, and Khan Yunis.
Among the prisoners released in the first phase are Matan Angrest, Alon Ohel, Guy Gilboa-Dalal, Gali Berman, Ziv Berman, Eitan Mor, and Omri Miran.
At the same time, Israel is preparing to hand over 250 Palestinian prisoners and more than 1,700 detainees to Hamas. According to Reuters, some of them are already on buses and are being prepared for transfer.
