Turkish President Recep Erdoğan said he was pleased with the negotiations that led to the signing of the Gaza ceasefire agreement.
Erdoğan specifically thanked Trump for showing the necessary political will.
“We will closely monitor the detailed implementation of the agreement and continue to contribute to the process. In the same way, we will continue our struggle until a Palestinian state is established based on the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital, independent, sovereign, and with territorial integrity,” he said.
