The Czech Republic will begin purchasing Niva cars manufactured at the Azerbaijani Azermash plant as part of a partnership program with AvtoVAZ.
According to the Czech portal Idnes, the SUV has already sparked interest among Czech buyers, not only due to its reliability, but also because of nostalgia. The Czechs have been fond of the Niva since 1983, following the cult TV series The Guest.
The price of one car in the Czech Republic will be approximately $24,000. It is reported that the supplies fully comply with EU legislation.
