Belgorod is regularly subjected to air strikes by the Ukrainian armed forces. On October 6, missile strikes were carried out on the city's energy infrastructure, in particular, the Luch electrical substation. Two people were killed. Following the missile strike, approximately 40,000 residents of the Belgorod region were left without electricity.
