The powerful momentum created in favor of the Anchorage agreements has run out. Ryabkov

The momentum for a settlement in Ukraine created after the meeting between Putin and Trump in Alaska has primarily been driven by the efforts of the Europeans, Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said.

“Unfortunately, it must be admitted that the powerful momentum created in favor of the agreements in Anchorage has largely been consumed by the efforts of opponents and supporters of the war,” Ryabkov told reporters.

“This is the result of destructive activity, mainly by the Europeans, which we are talking about openly and directly,” the deputy minister added.
