Russia's position on the US delivery of Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine is that it will be a new stage of escalation. Still, it cannot change the situation for Kyiv, said Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the Russian president.
"As for Moscow's position, it was unequivocally expressed by President Putin during a recent meeting within the framework of the Valdai Club. Everything was clearly stated there. It will be a serious stage of escalation, which, at the same time, will not be able to change the situation on the front for Kyiv," he told reporters.
Earlier, Putin said that the use of Tomahawk missiles by Kyiv would harm relations between Russia and the United States. He noted that the use of these missiles in Ukraine without the direct participation of American service members would be impossible.
