Indirect talks between Israel and Hamas in Egypt end positively

The first day of renewed indirect talks between Israel and Hamas in Egypt ended on a positive note, amid hopes of a possible deal on a 20-point plan to end the war in Gaza, Al Jazeera reported.

Sources reported that Monday's meeting in the Red Sea resort of Sharm El-Sheikh was positive, with a roadmap developed to continue the current round of talks.

The negotiators are set to continue discussions today.
