US President Donald Trump has announced very positive talks with Hamas and rapid progress on the path to peace in the Middle East. He wrote about this on his Truth social network page.
"Technical teams will meet again in Egypt on Monday to work out the final details. I have been informed that the first phase of the talks is expected to be completed this week. I urge everyone to act quickly," Trump said.
It is noteworthy that on October 3, Trump issued an ultimatum to Hamas, stating that the group must accept the peace plan by the end of the week, otherwise it will face serious consequences.
Hamas responded to the ultimatum, committing to the release of all hostages, including the bodies of the dead.
