The Palestinian Hamas movement has presented its official response to the peace plan proposed by US President Donald Trump for the Gaza conflict. Al Jazeera reports.
According to a senior source of the channel, Hamas has already conveyed its response to the mediators.
Later, it became known that Hamas agreed to release all hostages and return the bodies of the dead. The movement's statement noted that the Palestinian factions had decided to establish a new joint administrative body.
On September 29, the White House presented a plan for resolving the conflict, which called for a cessation of hostilities within 72 hours and the release of hostages. The plan also provides for the temporary transfer of Gaza's administration to an external entity.
Earlier, the US president had given Hamas until Sunday. Trump had stated that Hamas must accept the peace plan by Sunday, otherwise they would face "real hell."
