The progress of the peace process between Armenia and Azerbaijan is a serious and important step, Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama said ahead of the start of the European Political Community summit in Copenhagen.
“This is a serious matter. We were expecting it. This is happening thanks to the excellent leadership of the leaders of the two states, as well as the efforts of the US President. This is a great achievement,” said Edi Rama.
It is worth noting that the Albanian President, Aliyev, and Macron also met during the summit. The Albanian Prime Minister joked while talking to Macron and Aliyev: “You did not congratulate me and Ilham Aliyev. Trump put an end to the ‘conflict’ between us.”
