Predictably, Russia poses the main threat to European security. Danish Prime Minister

Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen has stated that the appearance of drones has disrupted airport operations. According to her, drones have also been found near military facilities. "These are attacks that expose our vulnerabilities and are aimed at sowing uncertainty and division."

Frederiksen noted that Denmark has raised the alert level: the presence of the army and police will be strengthened, and anti-drone measures will be introduced. The authorities are working closely with NATO allies to enhance airspace protection.

According to her, hybrid attacks have also recently affected Poland, Estonia, and Romania. "This is not a traditional war: one day it can be a drone, the next day it can be a cyberattack or disinformation. The goal is to destabilize societies and undermine trust in the authorities."

The prime minister stressed that the threat is serious for all of Europe: "That is why we continue to support Ukraine, which has experience in combating drones." He added that the issue of creating a "wall against drones" will also be on the agenda of the European leaders' meeting in Copenhagen next week.

According to Frederiksen, although Denmark cannot yet clearly identify the organizer of the attacks, "it is foreseeable that the main threat to European security is Russia."

"Although the authorities cannot yet identify who is behind the hybrid attacks against our airports and other critical infrastructure, it can at least be stated that there is one country that poses the main threat to European security, and that is Russia," he stressed.

According to the Danish leader, no country can defend itself against this threat alone: "No European country can defend itself against Russia alone, not even Ukraine, which has been fighting bravely for more than three years. "That's why we have our NATO alliance. That's why we are developing a European defense industry. And that's why we are making historic investments in defense in Denmark. The events of recent days only underscore how important it is that we act together, in Europe and in NATO," he said.
