Senior EU diplomat Kaia Kallas said Europe is not alone in its responsibility to help Ukraine.
“Especially when we consider President Donald Trump’s promise to stop the fighting,” she said in an interview on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly.
“He promised to stop the killing. So it cannot depend on us,” Kallas said.
The European Commission’s foreign policy chief stated that without the United States, there would be no NATO.
“America is NATO’s biggest ally. If we talk about what NATO should do, it also means what America should do,” she stressed.
