Shots were fired at the Tbilisi Holiday Inn. Man threatens to kill staff

Georgian media reports that a foreign man opened fire at the Holiday Inn hotel in Tbilisi, threatening to kill staff.

Police received a report of shots fired in one of the hotel rooms.

“Police officers responded quickly, arrived at the scene, and searched the room, after which the man was arrested,” said Tbilisi Police Chief Vazha Siradze.

Media reports indicate that police, rescue services, and an ambulance were mobilized to the hotel. When the young man was taken out of the hotel, injuries were observed on his face.
