Azerbaijan is ready to open a new page in relations with Armenia based on mutual recognition of territorial integrity and sovereignty. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev announced from the UN rostrum.
He added that the negotiations with Armenia have yielded positive results, as they were conducted exclusively on a bilateral basis.
“The negotiation process on the text of the peace treaty lasted from October 2022 to the summer of 2025. The negotiations have yielded positive results, as they were conducted exclusively on a bilateral basis, without any external interference,” he noted.
Aliyev added that regional communications are the basis of a vision of sustainable peace.
“One of the important outcomes of the Washington summit is the TRIPP program, which will ensure unhindered passage through the “Zangezur Corridor” and strengthen regional ties,” the Azerbaijani leader noted.
