A 6.2-magnitude earthquake has struck northwestern Venezuela.
The United States Geological Survey (USGS) said the epicenter was in the town of Mene Grande, in the state of Zulia.
The tremors were recorded at a depth of 7.8 km and were felt across much of Venezuela, as well as in border regions with Colombia.
There were no immediate reports of casualties or damage.
