Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has announced his readiness to hold elections if a ceasefire is reached. He stressed that the elections must be held in accordance with the Constitution.
“We are ready. If there is a ceasefire, even if it is difficult according to our Constitution,” the president said in an interview with Fox News.
He clarified that elections are possible only in cooperation with partners and with the provision of security guarantees.
“We can hold elections if we can do it together with our partners and with security guarantees,” the Ukrainian leader added.
