Poland opens its border with Belarus

Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk has announced that the border with Belarus will remain open.

"We have decided to reopen the railway and road border crossings, which were closed due to the West 2025 military exercises and the growing threat and political instability on our border," said Prime Minister Donald Tusk.

It is reported that when Poland closed the border with Belarus on September 12, more than 130 freight trains from China were left on the Belarusian side of the border.

This involves billions of euros' worth of goods, as approximately 3.7% of Chinese exports enter the EU via this route.
