Within the framework of the High-Level Week of the UN General Assembly in New York, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with European Union High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas.
The parties discussed the current state and prospects of relations between Azerbaijan and the European Union. The focus was on strengthening political dialogue, expanding economic and trade cooperation, and activating collaboration in such areas as energy and transport.
The parties also exchanged views on the situation in the region and discussed the ongoing peace process between Baku and Yerevan.
