Armenia and Azerbaijan gave each other high marks in international competition

A symbolic episode took place at the international Silk Way Star music competition held in Kazakhstan: the jury members representing Armenia and Azerbaijan gave high marks to the performers from each other’s countries.
The Azerbaijani jury member gave 10 points to the representative of Armenia, Saro Gevorgyan, and the Armenian representative gave the same high mark to the Azerbaijani participant, Sabina Zade.
The fact itself has symbolic significance, considering that Armenian and Azerbaijani representatives rarely give each other high marks on the international stage.
