US President Donald Trump has announced that he will host Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan at the White House on September 25. Trump wrote about this on the Truth Social social platform, noting that several important trade and military issues are on their agenda.
According to Trump, a large-scale Boeing aircraft purchase program, a deal to supply F-16 fighters, as well as ongoing negotiations on the F-35 military-technical program, are currently being discussed, which, he says, are expected to be successful.
"President Erdogan and I have always had a perfect relationship. I look forward to our meeting on September 25," Trump said.
