MI6 chief claims Putin wants Ukraine to surrender

Richard Moore, the head of Britain’s MI6, said in a speech in Istanbul that there was no evidence that Russian President Vladimir Putin was ready for peace unless it included the surrender of Ukraine.

According to Moore, Putin had “bitten off more than he could chew” and had seriously underestimated Ukraine’s capabilities. He stressed that the Kremlin’s strategy remained based on the use of force.

At the same time, Moore announced that MI6 intends to actively utilize the “dark web” to recruit agents and obtain secret information from Russia and other countries worldwide.
