The leader of Turkey's opposition Republican People's Party, Ozgur Ozel, announced at a rally that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan had a closed-door meeting with US President Donald Trump's son, Donald John Trump Jr., at the Dolmabahce Palace last week, DW's Turkish service reports.
According to Ozel, business issues were discussed at the meeting, but the guest's name was deliberately concealed during the visit.
"Blood is being shed in Palestine, but they are making deals with Trump's son through lobbying companies," he said.
Ozel also claimed that the region's hydrocarbon deposits are behind the plans around Gaza, and Erdogan is not responding to them.
