US President Donald Trump may meet with his Ukrainian counterpart, Volodymyr Zelensky, next week in New York, where world leaders will gather for the UN General Assembly, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said.
In addition, the American diplomat noted that no leader in the world has done more to end the war in Ukraine than Donald Trump.
“He will continue to try. If peace is possible, Trump wants to achieve it. At some point, the president may conclude that it is impossible. He has not reached that level yet, but he may achieve it at some point,” Rubio said.
