The European Parliament will again discuss the issue of no confidence in the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen. The new procedure was launched following the submission of two petitions.
A similar vote was already held last July, at the initiative of Romanian MP Gheorghe Piperea. The latter accused the European Commission of interfering in the Romanian presidential election and supporting the EU military spending financing program. At that time, von der Leyen received a vote of confidence, collecting a majority of the votes.
