Russia expects that the dialogue with Armenia in the context of unblocking communications will continue. This was stated by the representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, referring to the issue of the “Trump route”.
It is only possible to understand how this route will work in practice after becoming acquainted with the specific details of the project, the representative of the Foreign Ministry said at a briefing.
“Several additional factors should also be taken into account: Armenia is part of the EAEU single customs territory, the subsidiary of “Russian Railways”, the company “South Caucasus Railways”, manages the railway networks of Armenia, Russian border guards guard the border in the area where the mentioned route will supposedly pass,” the representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry emphasized.
